He was a loving husband to the beautiful Kate, the woman he has loved and built a life with for 22 years. A kind son, brother, and uncle. A great friend, a brilliant artist, a passionate sport and film lover, a pet dad, and a truly remarkable man.

Leon was the definition of a person that could light up a whole room. You truly felt his presence there. He had a way of making you feel like you were the most important person in the universe when he talked to you and listened to what you had to say. Whether you regularly saw him at basketball games or at the movies, he was always with ready with big, bear hugs and a gentle smile.

Leon's word for the year was passion and he lived his life with so much passion and curiosity and love. He had a lot of love for the world, for us, for We miss him already and wish we could have one last hug. The kind that's hard to let go of.

Let's be there for Taylor's like they have been there for us throughout all these years. Always ready to lend a helping hand, always with a smile on their faces, always full of love.
