Help Mark & Natasha Rainger get their son home from Surat Thani Prison, Thailand.

Last week my 18 year old nephew Loukas was arrested for picking up a watch in the Surat Thani airport that was in his security scanning tray. When he reached Bangkok to take his flight home he was arrested and detained overnight, transported on a 10 hour train ride to Surat Thani, and has been detained in a high security prison where they shaved his head and he slept on a floor with 20 other detainees for 6 days.

With lots of effort and money he was granted bail on 21st July and has been reunited with his mother Tash. He now needs to wait in the Surat Thani province for some months for court proceedings and an outcome. This has been incredibly traumatic and there is still a long way to go to resolve the situation, and for Loukas to return home to his family in Tauranga.

This page has been set up to help the Rainger family with flight costs, accommodation, and living costs while they are in Thailand supporting him.
