Support for Luka & Family

  • Fakaaue lahi & Thank you for your support

      8 November 2021

On Behalf of Luka and Gene we would like to send a massive thank you to everyone for their massive support. Luka is a good friend of ours and it was only right that we promote and administer this Givealittle Page so they can get a little bit of support during this time. They were humble and intially didnt want to make a fuss but I'm glad we could all come together and show them that they are more then worthy and loved by many. I will provide an update from them once the funds have been cleared and they receive their donation. Thanks fams!

*The Brotherhood Continues Charitable Trust (CC58816) does not receive any monetary commission, other then Giveallittle's adminstration cost, all monies received is passed directly onto the family.

Our family would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who took the time to think of our family during these challenging times. Thank you for your kind generosity and donations.

We are humbled and blessed to have you all to "givealittle" of your time and money to help us get through while I am living in the Brain Rehabilitation Centre. This has been a huge help for my recovery and a life saver to us

Words cannot express how grateful we are to receive this love and support.

It has been a long and tough journey, but I am on the mend thanks to rehab. I'm still unable to do the things that I used to, but grateful to God that I am here today. I am looking forward to being back with my family but still a long way to go and a lot of hard work to be done, but I will keep fighting.

An update on my condition so far is going slowly but surely. I am still unable to walk and in my wheelchair and my speech is still slow. My memory and cognitive skills is not quite there yet. Brain Injury is an invisible injury as it is inside the brain - your brain is an amazing organ - controls everything in your body right down to your emotions. So when your brain is injured, it pretty much affects your life - but I have been working hard every day to get back to some kind of normality. Knowing that I have this support out there from you all lifts and inspires me to keep going

So once again a big Fakaaue Lahi and Faafetai Lava (THANK YOU) so much.

God Bless you all, Stay safe
