Support for Mandy, Zoe & Mya

This page has been set up to raise funds to help support Mandy, Zoe & Mya following the tragic passing of their loving partner and father Daniel Henry (40).

Daniel passed away on Sunday the 17th of July in Christchurch hospital from heart complications caused by a congenital heart defect. Daniel lived with this defect for 40 years, but his health took a turn earlier this year when his body could no longer take the pressure caused by his condition. Over the last few months, Daniel had been in and out of the hospital monitoring the situation while waiting for approval for a joint heart and lung transplant in Australia (unfortunately, they do not perform this operation in NZ). The goal was to improve his health so he was stable enough to travel to Australia.

In the last month, his condition deteriorated and was told that he would not be able to receive further treatment. Previous to this, he was told that he had been approved for the operation in Australia, pending him being stable enough to fly.

Daniel leaves a huge hole in the many lives he touched, especially that of his partner Mandy, and daughters Zoe (6) & Mya (5). We love you Daniel, Mandy, Zoe & Mya.
