Support for Matthew Hood and His Family

Many of you will know Matt Hood, a much-loved local, devoted father, son of Ken Hood, and brother to Jacquie and Sarah.

Matt has recently been diagnosed with two separate cancers: advanced-stage, rare, and very aggressive lymphoma and multiple myeloma. We had hoped to continue managing this privately, but he is now about to begin intensive treatment, and the road ahead will be incredibly challenging. He will require full-time care and support throughout this journey.

Matt is well known for his kind and generous heart, his unwavering love for his family and friends, and his passion for the outdoors—especially fishing and hunting. He has always been the kind of person who puts others before himself.

During this uncertain and difficult time, Matt, Ashleigh, and Matt's three children—Dani, Sahara, and Stone—would be deeply grateful for any support.
