My Brother and his Family have lost everything when Cyclone Gabrielle hit Wairoa, they have 3 Children and another Baby on the way, they are a working Couple whom have been devastated and need to recover all that they have lost.
We aren't sure on their insurance situation yet but we will update you when we have more info.

My brothers little family are safe and sound in another house temporarily until they can find a permanent home and that they are coping each day whilst they both work to get back what they have lost when their home and household goods and personal clothing and items were damaged beyond recovery. My brothers partner is also due to have a baby at the end April which has been hard for the living arrangements that they're in. Whilst living amongst the silt is making them sick due to the toxic environmental effects that the Cyclone has caused.
