Semisi has had a severe injury and we want to support his family at this time.

On September 5, 2024, 16-year-old Semisi Naiqara, a talented and respected member of the Wesley College 1st XV, sustained a traumatic brain injury during a rugby match against Liston College.
After six weeks in Auckland Hospital Semisi was transferred to the excellent rehabilitation centre ABI, in Ranui. He is leading his way and is making impressive progress.
Semisi has had further surgery is making amazing progress, but he and his family really need support. He has a very long road ahead.
All donations will be thankfully received and contribute to the care Semisi will require moving forward.
“We are so deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support for Semisi,” said his parents. “It gives us so much strength to see how many people are standing behind him. With the right care and continued support from the community, we are hopeful Semisi will continue to make steady and encouraging progress.”
