Raising funds to support financial hardship after sudden cancer diagnosis
Northland
In June last year i took a sudden turn in my health, suffering with intense bone pain, fatigue and migraines, rendering me unable to continue working regularly. After months of daily illness, blood tests and gp appointments, i was diagnosed with Essential Thrombocythaemia, a rare slow growing blood cancer that will shorten my life expectancy and has impacted my life in many ways already.
I went from working full time in my Mums early childhood centre, caring for babies to chronic pain, some days rendering me from being able to get out of bed.
I have had to stop working for the foreseeable future as i focus on my health, and try get myself to a place where my symptoms and illness are more manageable and i can return to the career I love so dearly.
Unfortunately, with the inability to work, it has been extremely hard to afford the existing outgoing finances, bills, loans, cost of living etc, which has further impacted my health physically and mentally.
I know how hard it is for people to make ends meet in this current economy, but i would appreciate any small donation. Everything makes a difference.
Thank you so much for your time
