Support for the Gillan Family

$9,602 donated
Given by 77 generous donors in one year

This page is to support Sonia, Matt and their two boys, as Sonia battles Cancer. Any donation no matter how small will make a difference.

Otago

This page is for our amazing friend Sonia Gillan. After enduring several months of debilitating chronic back pain, Sonia was recently diagnosed with advanced breast cancer and is undergoing more tests to work out her best treatment options.

Sonia, her husband Matt and their two boys Connor and Seb are at the start of a long and challenging journey, which will involve plenty of hospital appointments, resting and recuperating, and spending time with each other. All this while Matt holds down a full-time job and does the daily school drop offs at kindy and primary school!

We want to lift the burden of daily bills, and and let them focus on themselves.

Anita Loughrey's involvement (page creator)

This page is to help Sonia, Matt and their boys out, by taking away some of the pressures of day to day life following her Cancer diagnosis.

Use of funds

These funds are to support Sonia, Matt and the boys, to reduce their weekly overheads at a time when family is most important.
