Supporting a family who lost everything, including their home, in the recent Auckland floods.

Auckland

Shelley, Jeremy and their 2 children (7 and 9) lost everything in the recent Auckland floods. Their house in Totaravale was more than 2 metres under water and has been red stickered, meaning it is uninhabitable. Thankfully they were away at the time and are safe. They only have the items they had taken with them on holiday and a little additional clothing they were able to salvage.

Whilst they do have insurance, this is going to take time to come through and no doubt there will be a shortfall. Jeremy runs a business from home so this adds to their financial difficulties. Many people have already reached out to offer financial help and creating this page is the easieset way to co-ordinate this.

Anyone who knows them knows what a wonderfully generous family they are and how much they do for others. They are so positive about their current situation and counting their many blessings but are realistic that there are difficult times to come.
