Support fund for Edie

Edie has just undergone another surgery a month ago and is hoping to be fit for a fourth operation in September or October. Late last year she found out that she had been denied coverage by her insurance company for the initial surgery which has left her with enormous medical bills, and until recently she had to cover much of her ongoing medical costs herself.

Edie still has a long and challenging road ahead, she will be unable to work and still needs assistance with medical costs, rehabilitation, living expenses etc.

She is so incredibly grateful and overwhelmed by the support she has received from everyone in her recovery so far, from well-wishers and people who have donated money, to the unknown people who donated the blood which kept her alive while she waited for surgery. Edie hopes one day soon to be back on her feet and that she’ll be able to pass that kindness on to others. That support has meant the absolute world to her, and to us all.
