I'm Jay Xuan, 17 years old, born and bred in Christchurch. I'm so honoured to be selected to represent New Zealand at the 2026 Badminton World Junior Championships. This will be my 2nd and final time competing, and this is my last year as a junior.

Unfortunately, Badminton is a self-funded sport in New Zealand. It will cost each player of the team about $8,000 for flights, transport, accommodation, food, uniform, plus extra WJC training in Auckland for players who live outside of Auckland.

I would be really grateful for your support to help me realise my dreams.
