Support Lewa’s Battle Against Cancer

Our beloved Mereani, known as Lewa to her family and friends, is bravely fighting advanced stage 3 cancer at just 36 years old. Lewa has always been strong, vibrant, and passionate about sports. She represented Fiji in rugby and soccer, showing dedication and determination. However, her love for sports often took a backseat as she selflessly cared for her grandmothers during their final years.

Now, Lewa is facing her own battle with immense pain and courage. She is in Fiji, where the medical system cannot provide the advanced care she urgently needs. Her doctors have advised that she must begin chemotherapy and radiation within the next 6 weeks to have a chance at survival. The required treatment will cost approximately $65,000 in New Zealand.
