Help us raise funds to make sure Malika has all the best tools to support her battle with breast cancer.
Auckland
On January 21st 2022, Malika was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the age of 25. Malika is passionate about the ocean and environment - she has just recently completed her Masters in Marine Biology and has so much to offer the world.
We are immensely grateful for the quick action of the hospital as her treatment plan is now underway, and we were able to get her started on chemotherapy within just 3 weeks after diagnosis. However, there is much more that comes with this battle for Malika and our family, so we ask for your support.
Donations will help us cover:
Any non publicly funded treatments recommended by the oncologists - such as Pertuzumab (an antibody treatment specific to HER2+ BC) which costs around $25k.
Complementary therapies and services to help her get the absolute best outcome from traditional therapy such as nutritionists, private specialists, supplements, high quality food and water etc.
Anything that will help increase her quality of life during an extremely tough time such as beautiful wigs during chemotherapy and creating a relaxing and healing home environment.
Malika is so young and has so much life to look forward to. We ask for your support so that we can have all the best tools at our disposal to help Malika win this battle - a lot of which are very expensive and difficult to manage on our own.
Any donation, however big or small is greatly appreciated and will contribute to giving Malika the best chance possible. The Costar family thank you for your support, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
