Support Marg to be with her Son Dillon

  • A message from Dillons Mum and Dad.

      11 August 2023

It is with the greatest sadness that Dave Morris and Marguerite Hart need to let the world know our beautiful brave son Dillon Morris from Taupo recieved his wings 🤍 💙🙏 yesterday on the 8th August 2023 at 8.05pm in London, the city he called home at Marie Curie Hospice.

Dave was unble to be here at this time so I was given the honour on behalf of us both to hold Dill's hand along with his amazing beautiful friends Luisa, Karne, Lucy, Dan, and Julia by his side as he left this world to become pain free from his battle with cancer.

He was incredibly loved by his siblings Daniel Morris Natalie Wendy Tania Thompson and Joseph Morris , and much loved Uncle to his nieces and nephews Nicole, Lucas, Tristan, Colton, Maia, Miley and Sienna.

We are forever grateful for all his London family that never left him alone until his Mum could join this truly amazing team of friends.

Rest in Peace Dillon in the arms of our Lord you made your parents so proud of what a loving, kind, handsome, caring, clever, strong, brave young man you were. 🙏💙🤍💙

  • Update from Marg ❤️

      7 August 2023

You maybe wondering and realised that 3 weeks is up and I should be back in New Zealand now.

Dillon's strength and determination to fight his cancer with everything he can is working. There are good days and difficult days for him, we are believing for our miracle though. Marie Curie Hospice is the best place for him to be right now, with physio and the gym on site so he can begin to regain physical strength .

He has so many incredible loving friends encouraging him and they are with on a daily walking this journey with him.

As a Mum it's been to difficult to put a time limit on my stay here, so with the help of Kristin from Taupo House of Travel who liaised with the airline to put my ticket in credit until I can make a return date.

With all your generous support that you have given I have been able to make the decision to stay here, without the stress of worrying about how to pay rent back home, so i can be here with Dillon and his support group of friends.

Thank you all so much for your positive thoughts and prayers for full healing. 🙏

    A message from Marg,

I have been so overwhelmed with all the love and support my friends, family, and community have given me through this difficult time. Words cannot express the gratitude I am feeling right now.

You have all helped me to be able to focus on my son and not stress about how I was going to pay bills back home.

Dillon is a determined young man who is giving it his all and fighting this all the way.

Being in the Marie Currie Hospice UK has been so good for his mental well being and the care and support he is getting here is beyond words. Each day brings more hope.

Thank you allfor your prayers,🙏 positive thoughts and any other spiritual sentiments you have sent are certainly working in Dills favour. Please keep them coming 🙏

Again I thank you from the bottom of my heart
