Support NZ U16 representative Benji Lowen compete at the ISA World Junior Surfing Competition

My name is Benji Lowen, I'm a 14 year old surfer from Christchurch, New Zealand. It was here I found my love of surfing and found myself in the water more than on land.

We moved to Australia a couple of years ago and have been living in a great surf spot called Emerald Beach in NSW. This is where you will find me checking the surf at the crack of dawn 7 days a week, surfing before and after school and surfing as much as I can at any opportunity I get.

In January I was lucky enough to fly home to New Zealand to compete in the New Zealand Surfing Nationals. At this event I managed to win the U16 National title and in doing so secure a spot on the NZ team. This team is representing NZ at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in El Salvador in May 2024.

I am so stoked for the opportunity to travel to El Salvador and have put this page together to help fundraise for the costs involved, which are estimated at around $10k -12K. The money raised will go towards the costs associated with travel, accomodation, coaches etc
