Supporting New Zealand and Autralian riders to race and grow in Europe.
Nationwide
Black Magic Women Cycling (BMWC) proudly champion the future of women’s cycling in Oceania. We’re committed to developing strong, confident athletes through world-class racing opportunities—in 2025, we’re taking our biggest step yet.
We’re preparing to send two squads to Europe:
Our U23/Elite team will embark on an ambitious 6-month campaign, racing against the best on the European circuit.
Our Under-19 team will take on a 4-week racing block, providing a critical stepping stone to international competition.
The reality: our riders are largely self-funded, juggling training, study, and work chasing their cycling dreams. International racing is essential for growth and exposure, but the costs are substantial.
We’re asking for your support to help level the playing field.
Your donation will directly support:
Travel and logistics for riders and staff
Accommodation and meals during the campaigns
Entry to top-tier races across Europe
Vehicle hire and mechanical support
We have set a goal of $30,000. All funds raised, whether we hit the target or not, will be distributed equally among the riders.
How you can help:
Donate what you can – every bit brings us closer to the start line.
Share the campaign – help spread the word to your networks.
Stay connected – follow the journey via bmwcycling.com and social media.
Help ensure our athletes aren’t held back by finances. and are instead empowered to chase podiums, break barriers, and pave the way for the next generation of women in cycling.
All money raised will cover travel, racing, insurance and living costs of the team in Europe.
