Support our Westlake Girls Premier Basketball Team to get to the World Champs in Macau, China

Winning back-to-back New Zealand Secondary Schools Basketball championships this year and becoming the #1 High School for girls basketball in NZ, our Westlake Girls Premier Basketball team has been invited to the International Schools bi-annual Basketball World Champs in China from 23 June - 3 July, 2024.

The team has the capability, leadership, and opportunity to promote Westlake Girls on the international platform as well as create a new template for future students to follow in their footsteps. This trip will give the students the opportunity to not only lift the excellence bar to an even higher level but also learn life lessons from other cultures, and play on a big world stage against other nations. The opportunity to compete at the ISF World Secondary Schools Championship is unique. It is a bi-annual event that is invitation only, and is only offered to the New Zealand Secondary Schools Basketball Champions. It may be a while before this opportunity presents itself again to Westlake Girls High School so we would like to take full advantage of it.
