Support Porirua shop owner victim of brutal assault

On 6 October 2023 a kind and gentle 55 year old gentleman, was brutally assaulted outside his dollar shop by several young men. He was in Wellington Hospital ICU for an extended period of time undergoing life-saving neurosurgery, critical medical care and treatment for on-going complications. He survived but has life altering physical and cognitive deficits which he is working to overcome. This senseless assault has been devastating and has affected every aspect of his and his family's lives. Their future is forever changed. His planned future will never be. While he is working hard for every little step towards recovery, his wife is providing support for him and working extra to save their business.
