💙 Help support Rory, Bex, Archie & Olive as they face Rory’s battle with advanced melanoma.

  • With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to Rory.

      2 January 2026

With very sore hearts we said goodbye to our Rory at 11:11am on New Year’s Eve surrounded by his family .

We are all so proud of him. It took so much courage to get through the last few months with such optimism and he fought everyday until the end.

We are all navigating a massive loss and have decided that a public funeral would not be Rory’s style. Instead we will be celebrating our boy with a private memorial when we’re ready.

We just wanted to say again how grateful he was for all of your donations. It really took a big weight off our shoulders and I know Rory was really humbled by your kindness 💛

    From Rory:

    Hi everyone,

I just wanted to start by saying thank you all so much for your generosity and the kindness you have shown to me and my family over the past month.

As someone who has always found it difficult to ask for and accept help, the outpouring of support has been truly overwhelming.

This week I begin a new therapy that targets my specific melanoma mutation, following a round of radiation and two weeks of a tough recovery from the side effects.

Hopefully, the combination of these treatments will help me move on to the next stage of healing, although I know I have a long road ahead with the cancer having spread to several areas, including my brain, spine, liver, spleen and lung.

Each day I am surrounded by family, kids and friends on rotation, and I’m really enjoying the revolving door of visitors who bring laughter and light-heartedness into my days.

If you’d like to come by for a visit, please feel free to reach out. The easiest way is to contact my PA (my partner, Bex) on 0279301704, and she will arrange a time.

Thank you again for your donations – we are eternally grateful.

    Rory
