Thanks everyone for your donations so far. Your contributions make a real difference in our ability to recruit and train new helpline volunteers.
Thanks to you, we've been able to advertise for volunteers in the Dom Post, on Facebook and Neighbourly. We've reached thousands of Wellingtonians and helped spread awareness of our helpline far and wide. We had an excellent turnout at our recent information session for people interested in volunteering, and we're beginning preparations for training our newest team members. Your donations contribute to training costs such as venue hire, course material and administration costs.
Our next training course starts on the 19th of March, and we have a goal of reaching $10,000 by then. Can you help us again by giving our Givealittle campaign one last push? Please consider making another donation, or share our Givealittle campaign with people you know. With your help, we'll be able to recruit more helpline volunteers and answer more calls from people in distress.
