Support Southern Brazil Flood Relief

  • Day 12

      15 May 2024

Today marks the 12th day since the rain began, and despite occasional sunny days, southern Brazil has endured another 3 days of intense rainfall. Consequently, water levels have not receded as quickly as hoped.

To grasp the gravity of the situation in the Southern state of Brazil, consider the below figures from the latest update:

    - 447 cities affected

    - 147 confirmed deaths

    - Over 80,000 people in shelters

    - 538,241 people displaced from their homes

    - 2,115,703 people impacted

    - 806 injured

    - 127 reported missing (this number is expected to rise)

It's evident that countless lives have been profoundly affected by the floods.

As I sit here today in Tauranga, listening to the heavy rain outside, I ponder what more we can do to help. Please feel free to share it on social media and purchase a ticket, or if you're inclined, donate directly through this page.

    Your kindness is deeply appreciated.

    Daiana
