Stephen is a West Auckland Lawn mowing Contractor who the media has reported as being falsely accused of defacing Maori Party Electoral signs in West Auckland by Maori Party President and Waipareira Trust Chief Executive John Tamihere.

As a result of this awful event, Stephen suffered a consequential loss of income, stress, negative health effects, service delays for his clients, and is now charged with having to raise a legal defence in this matter against Mr Tamihere.

False allegations are extremely harmful acts to make against a person, and more so when these extremely harmful acts are made by very powerful and well-resourced individuals, against those who can't hope to combat this power and resource on their own.

Such is the case for Stephen Howley.

If this situation wasn't bad enough, in May 2025, Stephen had his lawn mowing van robbed of its commercial tools, to the tune of $9000.00 in lost fixed assets.
