Tere is battling Stage 4 metastatic cancer targeting her liver and lymph nodes. Please help us through this journey.

Kia ora whānau and friends,
I never imagined I’d be writing something like this.
My wife has spent years battling endometriosis, a painful, exhausting condition that she faced with courage and resilience. Despite countless surgeries, chronic pain, and fatigue, she pushed through every day, never letting it define her.
Now we're facing something even harder.
After months of unexplained pain, we received the devastating news: Stage 4 Cancer.
The cancer had spread quickly and silently. We’ve been told that there are no curative options left. The recommendation is to focus on comfort and finding meaning in the small, everyday moments.
We're not giving up!
We are now pursuing alternative and integrative treatments. Some here in Aotearoa, others overseas, that may help extend her time with us. Time with our children, our mokopuna & our whānau.
Unfortunately, these treatments aren’t funded or covered by insurance. On top of that, the day-to-day costs - nutrition, pain management, travel, and basic living, have become incredibly difficult to manage.
That’s why we’re asking for your help.
This isn’t just about medical care. It’s about giving her the chance to fight. It’s about time, more birthdays, more memories. It’s about dignity, peace, and love.
Whether you can give a little, or simply share our story - every bit means more than we can say.
Every koha, every message, every prayer gives us strength.
Thank you for standing with us during the hardest fight of our lives.
Meeting basic needs while paying for health-related costs can stretch your budget thin, leaving little margin for stability.
Thank you Anau much love ❤️
