Support the Families of Three Young Lives Lost in Tragedy

With heavy hearts, we are raising funds to support the families of Manjinder Singh, Sandeep Singh, and Virendrapal Singh, who tragically lost their lives in a devastating road accident near Waiouru.

On 27 April 2026, the three friends were travelling together on State Highway 1 when their vehicle was involved in a collision with a tanker. Despite emergency services attending, all three sadly passed away at the scene, leaving their families and community in deep shock and grief.

These young men were like brothers, far from home, working hard in New Zealand to build better futures for their loved ones.

Manjinder Singh leaves behind his wife and two young daughters, aged 3 and 7, here in New Zealand. His funeral will be held here, where his family now faces life without him, along with uncertainty about their future in the country.

Sandeep Singh was the sole provider for his family — his wife, 7-year-old son, and mother in India depended entirely on him.

Virendrapal Singh was unmarried but deeply loved and cherished by his family. Both will be returned to India, adding a heavy financial burden to families already coping with immense loss.

Your support will help ease the immediate financial burden on these families, covering funeral costs, repatriation, and essential living expenses during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference.

While ACC financial support may be available (if approved), it won't cover everything.
