It's now been more than 30 days since the accident and the great news is Daniel is making amazing progress, every day.

He's now at rehab in Auckland so, in some ways, the tough part is only just beginning. Daniel will need to call on every ounce of grit and determination and PRAYER, as he works towards complete recovery.

Through it all we are assured God is doing miraculous work, just as He is in the business of doing.

The Milburns are grateful for all your prayers, the delicious meals and the wonderful generosity via GiveaLittle.

Let's keep the ball rolling, and keep up the support for Daniel and his family... and please share this page again to let everyone know about Dan's amazing and MIRACULOUS progress!

May God bless you all for your kindness.

Hi Daniel you don't know me I go to HCB. But I heard about your accident and I want to encourage you. Your recovery will be your testimony.

Some advice from a fella who has had a few brain surgeries, take it easy. The key to getting better and back to full health is to take things slow and steady. Don't expect too much too soon, of your body and brain just yet. You have a great testimony to share, in time to come.

      Jesus has got this.

  • Tears and laughter

      22 July 2021

Thank you to everyone who as supported the Milburns to date - your prayers are carrying them all through this difficult time.

There have been tears and frustration, as well as laughter and joy, as Daniel and his family come to terms with what has happened.

Please pray Daniel is able to begin eating and drinking soon, as this is proving challenging. (He is likely to be having a feeding tube placed into his stomach either tomorrow or early next week.)

Daniel also walked down the ward with his physio and OT, on a walking frame - each small step is a beacon of hope.

Let's please keep the Give A Little going - please share again if you can. Daniel's recovery journey, though lined with hope and the grace of God, is likely to be long and at least a little bumpy!

    Thank you all.

Daniel's breathing tube has been removed, and he is asking to see his family today. He is also asking to go home! Some very positive signs! Praise the Lord! Still, a long path to recovery... please remember to share this page and to keep Daniel and the Milburns lifted in prayer! Thank you all.

Today Daniel has started responding to verbal commands, which is very good news indeed.

Thank you so much to everyone who has generously given so far. The Lord himself says time and unforeseen circumstances befall us all.... it is wonderful to be able to support such a kind and generous family in their time of need.

Please remember to share this page on your social media - every little bit helps, and even the smallest amount reminds the Milburns how much they are loved.
