David Christensen has been scammed of $170,000. He needs your help!
Wellington
David Christensen, owner of Laughalots Playland in Lower Hutt, has been working on the opening of a playland in Porirua in June 2019.
While its core function is act as a social meeting place where parents can meet up with their friends, enjoy a coffee and muffin while all the time knowing that their younglings can play in a safe environment, Laughalots Porirua will be much more than just a Playland and Café. It has been
designed as a Social Hub for local businesses and the local community. For example, small food business can use the commercial kitchen for food preparation; party rooms can be used pop-up shops during the week, the whole venue can be used for business meetings after hours.
There is no other facility like it in Porirua.
Everything works according to the plan until three days ago when David found out that the equipment and gear he ordered from China are not arriving as expected. He has been scammed of $170,000.
While working with the Police trying to recover the fund (this may take a long time and may not be an eventuality), David needs your support to get the $170,000 needed in order to open the Playland in Porirua.
David is my husband, who has dedicated a lot of time and effort working on the Porirua playland. It will be sad for a lot of people to see the project closing due to the scam.
The fund raised will be used to pay for the equipment needed for the facility.
