Piha RSA Fire Fundraiser

On the evening of Thursday 26th December, a fire started on the deck of the RSA. Local first responders were on scene quickly, but unfortunately there has been extensive damage.
The Piha RSA is now closed for the foreseeable future, at a time when the busy summer trading period ensures it can then stay open for the community during winter.
The RSA has been a community club since 1952. During Cyclone Gabriel it was the first place that housed residents fleeing from their homes.
We have insurance cover (claim pending) but we want to ensure we can get the RSA back up and running - better then ever!
Use of funds
Covering costs incurred due to prolonged closure, and the reinstatement of Piha RSA

Hey all, thanks for all of your support. Things are progressing well with the insurance company, asbestos clean up due to start next week and cleaning of the fire damage. Our friends at the bowling club have offered to pass on their drink specials to all current paid up members, so get down there to support local 🤙please keep sharing this page and supporting the RSA, thank you 🙏
