Unite for animal rights at the Wellington Animal Rights March 2023. For a kinder Aotearoa for all sentient beings.

Wellington

In 2020, over 500 people from around the motu joined us in Te-Whanganui-a-Tara for the first Wellington Animal Rights March (WARM). We came together to stand up for animals, and it was an amazing day for Aotearoa's animal rights community.

The voices of ngā kararehe (the animals) are too often ignored. We know non-human animals feel pain, aroha, fear, and joy - just like us. Let us lend our voices to those whose cries are muffled behind factory walls and industry propaganda.

On Saturday the 18th of November 2023, we will once again unite to march for the justice of all beings who inhabit Aotearoa. Our volunteers are gearing up to make this year’s march even bigger and louder, and we need your help.

While we try to keep costs down as much as possible, putting on a national march unfortunately isn't cheap, and we can only contribute so much ourselves. The Wellington Animal Rights March is organised and run solely by passionate volunteers (unpaid) who dedicate their free time to the kaupapa.

Funds raised will be used for all costs associated with making the Wellington Animal Rights March 2023 a successful, memorable and safe event for all. See more details below.

Spread the word! Let’s unite in solidarity, raise awareness about animal rights and empower one another to stand up for our non-human animal siblings ❤️
