Tiaki Freeman, representing New Zealand at IPF Junior Worlds in Malta
Wellington
Kia ora whānau,
I am excited to share that my son, Tiaki Freeman (Ngai Tahu, Ngati Kahungunu ki Wairarapa), a 20-year-old engineering student and civil construction worker, has earned the opportunity to represent New Zealand at the IPF Sub Junior & Junior World Championships in St Paul's Bay, Malta, from August 28th to September 8th.
Juggling his studies, work in civil construction, and his dedication to rugby league and powerlifting has been quite the journey for Tiaki. Despite the challenges, he remains determined and hardworking behind the scenes. However, the chance to compete on the global stage poses financial challenges. We are reaching out for assistance to cover expenses such as accommodation, flights, team tracksuit, and other costs associated with Tiaki's participation in the championships.
Your support could truly make a difference in enabling Tiaki to proudly represent New Zealand and live out his dream of competing for culture and his country.
We deeply appreciate any assistance you can provide towards Tiaki's journey to the Powerlifting World Championships in Malta.
Ngā mihi
