I am raising money for my sister and her four children after they lost everything they owned in a fire. It is unknown how the fire started.
Canterbury
On Saturday the 26th, my sister and her four children lost their home to a fire. They now have nothing except the clothes on their backs, and sadly, she didn't have contents insurance at the time. My sister will now have to provide not just food and a roof over their heads, but everything they lost in that fire. To make it worse, June 26th was my youngest nephew's third birthday, and instead of celebrating, he saw his home, the place he is meant to feel safe, go up in flames.
She is a hard-working, loving single mother who would do anything she could, if it meant her children could be safe, healthy and happy. So, if you can spare anything, even if it's just a few dollars, all efforts would be greatly appreciated. It's going to take a lot to get them back on track after losing so much, but any help we can get would be a wonderful start.

The family in need is my sister, her daughter, three sons and their dog Kobe. My sister is a solo mum and has been for a long time.
At this point, anything. Clothes, food, necessities for my niece and nephews.
5th July: Update 5 July 2021
Thank you so much, for everyone who has donated so far! We are truly touched by this generosity. I mean it; this past week alone, I have seen donations by all sorts of people throughout New Zealand and Australia. Some we know personally, and complete strangers. All of you have such kind hearts!
We'd also like to thank the reporter from Stuff NZ, who's article has helped to reach all you generous donors. The amount so far has greatly exceeded our expectations and it has been wonderful. A huge thank you also, to those who have messaged us with offers of donated goods; it is hard for them, trying to build up everything from scratch, but with your help, my sister and her family are off to a fair start!
I will update some time soon if anything changes, or if there is anything new. Once again, thank you! We will continue to raise money for her at this stage, and as I have often said, every little bit helps!
