If you would like to help support Dan, Jo and their business True Leaf Microgreens, please read on...
Hira, Nelson
Kia ora koutoa e te whānau,
On the evening of Thursday 18th, Dan, Jo, Hendrix and Cooper evacuated their home with great urgency as slips threatened their home. They returned to find their business- True Leaf Microgreens grow house, the section and home severely damaged by significant debris and sludge from multiple landslides. This has now been 'red stickered.'
Currently, they are homeless, but they are safe and living in temporary accommodation. They are very grateful to many who have reached out to them with offers of support in various means, to those who have delivered food, and to those who have helped out using machinery, buckets and shovels.
It is a priority for Dan and Jo to get their business up and running again as they have put their heart and soul into creating a beautiful product, a loyal client base and this is their sole income to support their family and rebuild. Dan and Jo are the ones that show up and give a hand, offer support and know the value of community, however, they are humble and asking for support does not come easy for either of them.
This Givealittle page provides an opportunity for their friends, whānau, customers and community a way to offer support that will allow Dan and Jo to overcome some of the immediate multitude of financial challenges they are facing. If you can give a little- it would be received with much humility and gratitude.
