    Just wanted to say a massive !!!THANK YOU!!! to those of you who contributed to the Give A Little donation page to help me with my brain aneurysm recovery.

    Also, a big fat thank you to anyone who has dropped off meals, baking, snacks, flowers, vouchers, cards etc, and also to those who have helped out with the kids - transporting them, having them over, organising their lunch boxes, and taking care of them in any way at all.

    So *** THANK YOU *** so much for your help - it's completely appreciated by our whole family.

  • Settling in at home

    Melissa has been home for a little over a week now and is continuing her recovery, taking things day by day, enjoying the peace and quiet of the country and spending time with her family.

    Thanks everyone for your generosity! We're going to extend this Give A Little fund because donations are still coming in and Melissa and her family still have quite a journey ahead of them. It won't have any impact on the availability of funds already donated, it just gives people more time to contribute.

    Melissa had a lovely visit with Kerry and Trudi on the weekend and everyone continues to be super impressed with the progress she's making. Those of us who know Melissa aren't surprised of course, she's proving once again what a strong woman she is!

    Melissa is awake and even made a phone call home this morning! Jeff has supplied these photos and when asked if he thinks she'll mind them being shared he said he's very happy for her to kick his a$$ about it when she gets home!
