Peter Hofsteede joins the ship Pacific Hope for a helping mission in the Pacific
Bay of Plenty
Peter has been working as a volunteer on the Pacific Hope, run by Marine Reach Ministries. The ship is getting ready to sail to the pacific where it will give medical assistance to hard to reach people in several pacific islands, a detailed description of what is happening can be found on :

Peter has been asked to join the ship as part of the crew and he will be away for approximately 3 months to start with. The ship will depart the Port of Taurange on the 20th of June. As Peter will receive no income while away from New Zealand, he needs supporters to help with his weekly accomodation costs while on the ship. This is around $125 a week. His parents will be donating money for his costs, but this is a great opportunity for all his friends and relatives as well as anybody who wants to to donate to this cause. Peter has some disabilities, but this has not stopped him being very faithful assisting in the the preparation of the ship, which has been hard, dirty and hot work for many months.
I am, along with my husband Paul, involved as Peter's parents and as a supporter of Marine Reach. Peter has faced quite a few obstacles in life, but he is ever optimistic and faithful. I am very proud of him. Marine Reach is doing great work in the Pacific supplying medical help to needy people in the Pacific. Please visit their website for much information about all their involvements.
Thanks Karyn for your donation. Much appreciated. Cheers, Elise
