Supporting Cam through recovery after brain tumour surgery
Otago
Cam's world was turned upside down a few weeks ago when he received the news that he had a brain tumour. In a whirlwind of a timeline, he underwent surgery this week and is now at the beginning of his road to recovery.
Cam is a med student, working hard toward a future helping others, but his diagnosis means he's had to put his studies on hold at exactly the time he should have been focused on getting ahead. On top of the physical and emotional toll of surgery and recovery, this puts real financial pressure on Cam and his family, from medical costs to the simple loss of normal life and income while he heals.
Beyond his studies, Cam is a much-loved member of the Eastern Rugby Football Club family in Waikouaiti. He's the kind of guy who brings a laugh into any room and looks out for the people around him. Now it's our turn to look out for him.
Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward supporting Cam through his recovery, covering living costs so he can focus on getting better, not on how to make ends meet.
Thank you for being part of Cam's support crew. Every dollar and every kind word makes a real difference right now.

The money will be spent on living costs to help Cam while he is recovering and ease the financial burden.
