Supporting Esther, Tim and Their Three Children

    Hi everyone,

    Thank you to all who have got in touch or contributed to the givealittle over the last 4 months, it has helped beyond words and we are so grateful!

    Esther had her surgery in July where she had all visible cancer removed, along with some extras. It took a while to recover but she is starting to come right now. She also started chemo again and is now down to her last session this Thursday! It is in equal parts fantastic and frightening 😂😬

    After the last chemo we have a little down time before she starts her inhibitors which is prescribed for 3 years, side effects are nausea and fatigue which is challenging but she has dealt with worse.

    Until then we are going to make the most of her extra energy with some much needed family time.

    Doctors are pleased with her progress but are cautious as the cancer commonly returns within 6 months to 2 years. We are planning on being in the percentage that proves them wrong. So keep sending your thoughts and well wishes it has meant the world!

  • Goal Increased to Support Esther's Recovery

    Update:

    Thanks to your incredible generosity, we're almost at our original goal of $21,000.

    Tomorrow, Esther faces major surgery—an important step in her fight against ovarian cancer. While we're hopeful, we now know the road ahead will involve a lengthy recovery, ongoing treatment, and at least four months of reduced income.

    With that in mind, we've increased our Givealittle goal to $36,000. We believe this is a realistic reflection of the financial impact ahead and will help ease the pressure on Esther, Tim, Frankie, Arthur and Maggie as they focus on recovery and family.

    Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared the page, or supported our family in any way. Your kindness has meant more than words can say.

    We would like to say Thankyou to everyone who has contributed, we are overwhelmed with all the kindness shown, we see all your messages and they are so appreciated. We are forever grateful.

    We are almost halfway through treatment, the latest update is Esther is having surgery on the 14th to remove, all visible cancer and will start chemotherapy again once she is recovered. It is a long road ahead that we are taking on step at a time.

    Thank you all again for the love and support!
