Supporting Haley with her treatment for Breast Cancer.

On January 30th 2020 our gorgeous friend Haley was told the one thing you never want to hear – “It’s Cancer”

After being poked and prodded, Haley’s diagnosis has come back as a genetic form of Stage 2 Breast Cancer called PALB2. This strain is extremely rare and because of that not much is known about it or how it works.

Haley has opted to go ahead with a Double Mastectomy, even though it has only been found in one of her breasts; this will take away the worry of the cancer possibly spreading in the future. (This is provided she does not need Chemotherapy first.)

We have created this page on behalf of Haley and her partner Aimee to try and relieve some of the financial pressure that is ahead in their near future. As Haley is self-employed she does not have any sick leave or annual leave to fall back on.

At this point in time her treatment plan is unknown – She has no set date for when she is able to return to work.

But what they do know is there will be extensive treatments following surgery, which could be anywhere from four months to a year. (Including radiation, hormone therapy and possibly chemotherapy.)

Any surplus funds raised will be donated by Haley to charity.
