Supporting Jessie and her family ❤️

  • Jessie is home!

      14 November 2025

After a long and incredibly tough journey, Jessie has finally been discharged from hospital and is back at home with her girls where she belongs. Recovery isn’t over — there’s still a road ahead and plenty of healing to do — but we are so grateful and relieved to be where we are today.

We want to thank every single one of you for the love, support, donations, messages, meals, and kindness you’ve shown Jessie, Jason, Aria, and Isla throughout this nightmare. Your support truly helped carry this family through the darkest moments.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. 💛

  • Update on Jessie #3 💙

      21 October 2025

Out of ICU and into HDU — take two!

Jessie has been making such solid progress over the last few weeks, and she’s now made her way back to the HDU. She’s continuing to rest and recover, taking each day as it comes. The light has truly returned to her beautiful blue eyes — she’s chatting away, making us laugh, and keeping everyone’s spirits high.

Jessie is still experiencing a bit of short-term memory trouble, but we’re hopeful that with rest and time, that will continue to improve. The Jessie we have today may not be exactly the same as the one we had on the 28th of September, but she’s fighting hard every day to get back there — and we couldn’t be prouder of her strength and determination.

We also want to take a moment to thank every single person who has supported Jessie, Jason, Aria, Isla, and our extended family through this journey. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster, and one we wouldn’t wish on anyone, but the love and kindness we’ve received has shown us just how much good there is in the world. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you all. ❤️

  • Update on Jessie #2 💙

      11 October 2025

Jessie had been making incredible progress over the past few days, but unfortunately, we’ve hit our first hurdle. She began experiencing vasospasms — a common complication after a brain bleed where blood vessels tighten, reducing blood flow and oxygen to parts of the brain.

After a CT scan confirmed the issue, Jessie underwent surgery to open the affected vessels and restore proper blood flow. She has since been moved back to the ICU, where she’s being carefully monitored around the clock by her medical team.

Our Jessie girl is unbelievably strong and continues to fight with everything she’s got. Please keep sending your love, thoughts, and prayers — they mean the world to her family right now. 💙

    Hi everyone,

We are absolutely blown away by the love and support shown for Jessie and her family. Knowing that Jason can remain by her side without the extra stress of finances is such an incredible gift, and we are so grateful for your generosity.

Jessie is showing real strength on her road to recovery. She has full movement on her right side, and while her left side is a little slower to respond on command, she is still able to move it. Most encouragingly, her speech is beginning to return. It may not yet be her beautiful sing-song voice, but hearing her say a few words has been a huge comfort to us all.

We know there are still challenges ahead, but every small step forward fills us with hope. Thank you for continuing to keep Jessie, Jason, Aria, and Isla in your thoughts. Your kindness truly makes a difference.
