Let’s support Nathan through treatment, ease the financial pressure, and help us spend more quality time together.
Hamilton, Waikato
In January 2026 my husband Nathan received the devastating news that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer at the age of 30.
Last year we were celebrating milestones - getting married, buying our first home, Nathan becoming a qualified builder, and me finishing my bachelor’s degree. It felt like everything was falling into place. Suddenly everything has changed. Instead of planning our future, Nathan has faced hospital appointments, brain surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and the uncertainty that comes with such a devastating diagnosis.
Through all of this, Nathan is still Nathan - kind, selfless, and still the one comforting others and making people laugh. He shows up for everyone and would do anything for the people he loves.
Since his diagnosis, he has had to step away from work and is unable to drive for at least two years. We’re asking for help to ease the financial pressure so we can focus on Nathan and his ongoing treatment.
Donations will go towards essential living costs and medical-related expenses. If we’re fortunate enough to receive support beyond those essentials, we’d love to put it towards something we had been saving for together - travelling to Japan. It would mean so much to make that trip together, experience places we’ve talked about for years, put our Duolingo streaks to good use, and create meaningful memories.
Thank you for reading Nathan’s story and surrounding us with so much love and support during this time 🤍
Nathan's wife.
