  • Update on appt for surgery

    Hi everyone,

    Just a little update, Tania has just been informed she has an appt booked at Greenland hospital with the surgery team in charge of her care.

    Appt date is November 5th next Thursday.

    We don't have alot of information about the appt but expect that they will examine her over and hopefully at this appt will discuss the treatment options and timeframes so we will be able to update further after that appointment.

    Kia ora whanau and friends.

    Just updating as have not done so in a wee while.

    Tania has been for a C.T scan and M.R.I last week as the hospital team are just finding out what her body and organs are fit for regarding treatment plans.

    We are just awaiting the next step which was to look at what options are available ( likely surgery) and when they can do it.

    I will post an update once a date has been booked in.

    Thank you all for your donations and shares this has helped so much with hospital trips and equipment needed for now and recovery period.

    Some purchases already made include a lift chair ,

    Bedside table, wheelchair, walker and shower seat. Pics to follow later.

  • Update for operation

    Hi everyone 😊

    Just an update , Tania has had a brief update today.

    An MRI will be done and the specialist operating is based in Auckland.

    Auckland is where the operation will be done so funds raised will also be used towards petrol and accomodation there during the critical period.

  • Update on info

    Hi everyone,

    Just a quick update.

    Tania would like to thank you all herself individually but as you can imagine she has limited energy but will be making her way through the page. Thank you all so much.

    We have added some scan pics of the mass along with some info on her situation.

    Tania had been admitted to hospital but has been let out temporarily until her biopsy results come in and the team have made a plan as to how they will operate on the mass.

    Thank you all and please feel free to ask any questions of needing any info.

    We will try to update the page as we have any changes.

    Thank you friends family and anyone else out there helping out x
