The passing of Dwayne Patea has been sudden and unexpected for all the whanau.
Dwayne was also known as "Dread" or "Dreadlock". He had such a kind warm and loving heart, and always had such a chilled relaxed vibe about him. He was such a humble man.
He was an amazing papa to his four boys and taught them many life lessons. The boys were his love and life and he was always so proud of them. Dread was musically talented and his gift of music was passed down to his boys.
