Supporting Scott during his AML Relapse and Stem Cell Transplant
Manawatu / Whanganui
After undergoing 3 cycles of Chemotherapy to battle Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2014 Scott achieved remission only to relapse almost exactly 3 years later.
As it has come back once, it will come back again and chemotherapy will not be enough so he begun to undergo further chemotherapy cycles over the past month before travelling down to Wellington at the start of July for at least 3 months of further treatment. The entire treatment plan totals at least 6 months and for at least 2 months of his Wellington stay his wife, Michelle, and young children, Caleb (3) and Isaac (7 Months) must relocate to live with him as he cannot live as an outpatient alone.
Any donation, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated and any funds will be used to help cover expenses involved with relocating to/living in Wellington, expenses involved with maintaining their home which they own back in Whanganui, and creating memories with his boys in Wellington to turn it into an adventure for them to reduce their upheaval from their normal daily routine and environment.
We also encourage you to follow his Facebook page “Scott vs Leukaemia – Round 2” for updates on his progress and some information to better help this horrible disease.
I am Scott's sister in law. This is a small way that i could do something for Scott, Michelle and the boys.
By spreading this "Give A Little" page to friends and contacts, all funds will be going to Scott & Michelle to help with all additional costs that will be incurred during this time.
