Iziyah is 5 year old brave superhero who has been through a lot of health issues in his life so far & will eventually loose his vision.

Auckland

Iziyah has been through more than most. In February 2013 at age 2, Iziyah was diagnosed with a rare immune disorder called Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD). This was found through a pneumonia and he had 1/3 of one lung removed due to an abscess. In August 2013 Iziyah had an unrelated Bone Marrow Transplant in the hope to cure the CGD. This was successful but in 2014, he developed symptoms of Chronic Graft vs Host Disease - a complication of the transplant- and is on immune suppressant medication to control this. He wears a mask anywhere there is people to avoid getting sick.

On top of all the health issues, Iziyah is also loosing his vision due to original disease. This will eventually progress to blindness. He is currently blind in one eye and has a small tunnel of vision in the other eye. Unsure as to how long this will last so we're trying to create as many memories as possible before this happens.

We have opened this fundraising page to help raise money Iziyah to help with on going expenses and to create memories with him & his 3 year old sister Kaylee before he looses his vision completely.
