IMPORTANT UPDATE BELOW
Auckland
We are sorry to inform everyone that Mel passed away on 30th January 2016. We are sincerely grateful for everyone's help and support.
The family have incurred significant financial costs over the last four years. If you would like to support Chad, Emily and Samuel you can continue do so through this givealittle page.
Hi, thanks for taking the time to read my story. Nearly two years ago I was diagnosed with metestatic breast cancer at the age of 34, this is no standard breast cancer. At the time of diagnoses it had already spread to my liver which means in Dr's terms its "treatable, not cureable" which I refuse to accept. We have two young children that need their mummy round for as long as possible. With your prayers and support, I can fight this evil burden with all I have.
Thank you for reading xx

Yesterday I had my most recent scan results, it showed that the bone metastasis has pretty much gone and everything else is "stable". This is a huge turn around from 10 weeks ago when I was advised to "get my affairs in order" and was referred to hospice.
I am so grateful that my oncologist has me on an effective chemo finally but personally I give more credit to the Vit C infusions and having amazing positive people around me.
I can only continue with these infusions through the support of others as we are financially stretched every week. Can I please ask of those that haven't shared our story to possibly do so; I have two beautiful children that deserve to have their mummy around for as long as possible..
