Support the Town Family after mother, Jenny and son, Zane were killed in a fatal car accident on Saturday 9th May 2015 on SH3 near Marton
Manawatu / Whanganui
On Saturday 9th May 2015, a fatal car accident occured on SH3, near Marton. It is not yet known how this accident occured, however Jenny Town (41) and her son Zane Town (14) who were the front seat passengers of the vehicle were killed instantly.
There were three other passengers in the car, Jenny's daughter Rachel and son Hayden along with her grandson Lucas whom were all injured. Zane had recently joined the sport of karting, a motorsport in which he and the whole family fell in love with. They were travelling back to Wanganui from Palmerston North after spending the day at the Kartsport Manawatu track, where Zane was trying out his new kart.
They are survived by Jenny's husband Willy, daughters Rachel and Nicole, son Hayden and grandson Lucas.
This is a loving family, who didn't deserve to be dealt this tragic loss. Any help that you could give to this family would be greatly appreciated.
50% of these funds will be placed in a trust fund for 6 year old son Hayden, to be used for his education and assist him financially with his hearing loss.
The remainder of the funds will be used to assist the Town Family with day to day living costs whilst they try to re-establish some normality within their family life.
The Harrison Family got to know the Town Family through the motorsport of Karting when son Blair joined around the same time as Zane. At nearly every club meet since then, our two families have enjoyed each others company, had a lot of laughs and loved watching our boys compete in the sport they had a mutual love for.
