Supporting New Zealand weightlifters to the 2022 Commonwealth Games

Nationwide

Olympian Cameron McTaggart, 2x Commonwealth Games representative Vester Villalon + NZ Coach, Richie Patterson and team Manager Gabrielle Peach are on the path to the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

As part of their journey to the weightlifting platform - They will be joining the New Zealand team training camp in Sweden prior to flying into UK and Birmingham.

With this comes additional costs to the athletes and coaching staff of approximately $2000 each (Accommodation and flight extensions).

Noting that these athletes are not professional and not only covering these additional costs - but also taking 3 weeks off work.

Any support to help alleviate these costs would be greatly appreciated, and your support will be rewarded as you take pride in watching these athletes perform at the Commonwealth Games.

Richie Patterson's involvement (page creator)

I am the personal coach of Cam McTaggart and National coach to the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and "mentor" to Gabrielle:)

Use of funds

Money will be directly attributed to the training camp and additional travel costs to and from the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
