Please help Suzanne's cats have the best start to their new lives by being in the best health they can be when they are adopted.
Auckland
Suzanne is a life-long animal welfare advocate and rescuer of animals in unhappy circumstances. She currently has 23 loved and well cared for ex-rescue cats sharing her home. Unfortunately Suzanne has received a terminal cancer diagnosis and needs to re-home her beloved 'four-foots'. Before this can happen, so that Suzanne can be sure that each is in the best possible condition upon adoption and so that adopters can have recent information on the cats' health status, all the cats are currently being health checked by a veterinarian - this includes vaccinations, blood tests and dental extractions as indicated. This process is quite expensive, and donations to help with it would be gratefully received.
Suzanne is a friend and fellow member of the Community Cat Coalition Inc.
Veterinary expenses for Suzanne's cats. Any funds left over will be used by the Community Cat Coalition to de-sex stray/community cats, as a legacy of Suzanne's rescue work.
Progress! 15 November 2020
To date, 17 of Suzanne's cats have been seen by her lovely vets - checked for general health, vaccinated and microchipped (or microchip-checked for those microchipped earlier). Vet visits for the rest, and some return visits for teeth work and other health procedures, are scheduled to happen in the next 2-3 weeks. This is not a cheap process so donations are still very much appreciated!
