Sylas' Sweden Trip
Let's get Sylas to Sweden to meet the Swedish Women's Football team!

Sylas has applied to Make a Wish for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Sweden. Make a Wish will cover four days of the trip, so we are hoping to top up this amount to make this a memorable experience for Sylas.
Since seeing Sweden play live in Wellington in the Women's World Cup, Sylas has become their biggest fan and can't wait to go and meet the team on their home turf.
"I am a 16 year old boy from New Zealand, turning 17 in 2025, who is really into video games and really keen on travelling! Football is also another big interest of mine, and sometimes I play power chair football!
I also have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), which is a condition that causes my muscles to progressively weaken. This results in the full time use of a wheelchair, and is also how I was eligible to apply to the Make a Wish Foundation!"

I am Sylas' ORS teacher and am supporting him to set up this page in his own words as far as possible.
Use of funds
The fundraised money will go towards the additional costs of the trip, including additional nights and hopefully some amazing experiences for Sylas and his family while they are there.
Funds will be paid to Sylas' mother Dina.

Sylas' trip is defintley happening this June! Thank you for your continued support. Any funds raised from now will go towards trip expenses - flights are booked!
