Deliver workshop at International Conference of Supervised Contact Services. Taking our New Zealand story to providers from other countries.

Nationwide

The Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Supervised Contact Services (ANZASCS) is an Incorporated Society with charitable (not-for-profit) status.

The Association is the ‘umbrella’ organisation which over-sees the delivery of children’s supervised contact services amongst its member organisations throughout New Zealand.

All members of the Committee for the Association provide their services on a fully voluntary (unpaid) basis.

Members of the Committee have been invited to attend an international conference being convened by the Supervised Visitation Network of North America, and to present a workshop at that Conference.

The Workshop will showcase New Zealand and the services offered by ANZASCS. Our workshop will include:

 an introduction to New Zealand – our cultural / social / legal settings

 a presentation on the key considerations for the delivery of supervised contact services in New Zealand

 a presentation on a personal journey through issues relating to supervised contact, and

 a question-and-answer session

Some members of the committee may choose to undertake personal travel after the conference. The costs of any such travel will be covered by the individuals concerned.

About us

The ANZASCS is established to promote and facilitate the welfare, development and best interests of children and their families in New Zealand by:

− assisting in the establishment, promotion and oversight of appropriate child contact services, and

− the education and support of those involved in providing those services.

Use of funds

Any funds raised through this page will be applied directly to the costs of:

 registration for the conference

 travel to and from the conference

 accommodation during the conference

We will close this page if sufficient funds are raised for the purposes outlined above. However, if there should happen to be any additional / surplus funds, these will be applied to the charitable purposes of the Association.
