Help Tank get surgery

Bay Of Plenty, Whakatane District

On the 27th of December. I noticed my dog was limping, and later on during the day he wasn’t putting any weight on it, he was holding it up off the ground. He’d also became very lame, not his usual happy self.

So I decided to take a trip to the vets, anxiously waiting to be seen. I was hoping nothing would be broken. The veterinarian mentioned that it was something called a Ruptured Cruciate Ligament. And the best thing for him is to have surgery to fix it otherwise he will indefinitely stay lame for the rest of his doggy life, or there is the option to sadly euthanize. He was given pain medication for the mean time until I could set something up to start the process of getting surgery done. Because nothing will be fixed unless the payment has been made and it’s going to cost a hefty $4000.00. He’s run out of medication, and he is in excruciating pain right now. And it’s very heartbreaking to see him the way he is.

So I am kindly asking please, please consider helping me raise funds to get my poor boy fixed. We will be forever grateful.

Summer Gill's involvement (page creator)

I had Tank since he was a puppy. Recently I’ve just handed him over to my mum (Des) because I have 2 little kids here that just don’t know how to be gentle around him. Also a younger puppy than him here who loves to get rough with him. Tank needs peace

Use of funds

All money will go directly towards the costs of his surgery, medication and aftercare.
